We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable Security Officer to support a high-profile client within a corporate environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of security service in line with assignment instructions and customer requirements, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and site assets. This role requires a strong customer-focused approach, consistently demonstrating integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness while maintaining a visible and proactive security presence at all times🛡️

As a Security Officer, your key duties will include preventing unauthorised access to site, monitoring alarm systems and CCTV, and carrying out both internal and external patrols in accordance with site procedures. The Security Officer will also oversee traffic management, enforce parking restrictions, conduct routine equipment checks, and manage key control including locking and unlocking duties.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate 
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate 
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• A valid driving licence
• Able to commit to weekend working
• Able to patrol across 3 different locations
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Ability to patrol internally and externally
• Reliable and trust worthy 
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
