Conducts biopsychosocial assessments utilizing approved assessment instruments; interprets patient disclosures and collateral contacts to determine the presence of a substance use disorder and/or mental health disorder. Utilizes DSM multi-axial diagnosis and ASAM PPC to assess appropriate level of care. Provides individual/group counseling, case management, discharge planning, education, and referral assistance to individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional License
- 1 year of counseling experience in a state-approved substance use disorder treatment facility
- 3 years of recent (last 5 years) documented experience working with individuals with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Social work, psychology, sociology, or other human services or related field, in accordance with WAC 246-811-030
- Bachelor's Degree in Social work, psychology, sociology, or other behavioral science field

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
