Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation

Shift: Days

Job Type: Per Diem

Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• Two (2) years of adult inpatient telemetry unit experience in an acute care setting required within the last 6 months.

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

• Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment:
• Current California RN license;
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association; Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association;
• OPTIONAL: CPI certification – Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training.
