Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing lines, floors, walls, drains, and facility areas according to established sanitation procedures.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble equipment to ensure sanitation and operational readiness.
- Operate sanitation equipment and safely handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with company policies and safety requirements.
- Conduct sanitation inspections and pre-operational checks to verify equipment and production areas are clean and production-ready.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety programs, including GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and PPE requirements.
- Identify and report sanitation concerns, equipment damage, maintenance issues, or conditions that may impact food safety or production.
- Complete required sanitation records, cleaning logs, and documentation accurately and timely.
- Support deep-cleaning projects, audits, and other sanitation initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in refrigerated production areas and around food products
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
- One year of consistent work history at a manufacturing facility or warehouse.
