JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Transportation Department, ensuring that the highest level of professionalism and guest service is achieved and maintained.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is preferred
- One year of supervisory experience is required
- Three years of experience in Valet operations, transportation, vehicle maintenance, or fleet management is preferred
- Must possess a valid N.C. CDL driver’s license with a passenger endorsement or the ability to apply and obtain this license within 30 days of initial hire. Offer of position may be rescinded if unable to comply with this requirement
- Valid driver’s license required with no more than one (1) DUI conviction or three or more moving violations, three or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction), or conviction for suspension or conviction for at-fault accident within the last 3 years required
- Ability to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles and light trucks required
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions required
- Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
- Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with money handling and electronic cash register operation preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
- Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and surrounding property
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke
- Must be able to have exposure to outdoor weather situations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
