Binance.US is a licensed and regulated U.S. cryptocurrency exchange where users can buy, trade, hold, and earn digital assets. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join the Engineering team to build product features across backend, frontend, or full-stack applications while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of backend, frontend, or full-stack applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS, while supporting integration across distributed systems
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following team standards and guidance from mentors
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups to learn agile engineering practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Product, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services
- Research and propose ways to improve system reliability and developer productivity during the replatform effort
Requirements:

- Proficiency in Java and an understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Experience with TypeScript, React, or modern web development frameworks is a strong plus
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or RDS
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Exposure to version control (Git) and continuous integration tools is a plus
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, take initiative, and collaborate in a team environment
- Interest in fintech, blockchain, or scalable backend systems
