Job Title: BI Lead (Power BI / Tableau)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BI Lead with strong expertise in Power BI and Tableau to lead enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in BI development, data modeling, dashboard design, and analytics architecture, along with proven leadership capabilities. This role requires a balance of technical execution and team/stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BI solution design, architecture, and implementation initiatives.
• Develop and optimize Power BI reports, semantic models, and Tableau dashboards.
• Design scalable data models and analytics solutions for enterprise reporting.
• Write and optimize DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across BI platforms.
• Mentor BI developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Work closely with Data Engineering teams to build analytics-ready datasets.
• Drive BI best practices, deployment standards, and self-service analytics adoption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with Star Schema, Fact & Dimension Modeling, and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Strong understanding of BI architecture, governance, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading BI projects and interacting with business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
