ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will actively maintain relationships with customers and manage various aspects of customer accounts in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a busy, customer service-oriented environment
- Flexible and ability to prioritize tasks
- Partner with the Commercial Team to maintain excellent relationships with customers
- Interact with customers regarding markets and documentation needs
- Enter and manage sales and purchase contracts
- Process invoices and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Researching and obtaining resolution of customer issues
- Effectively manage positive relationships with ADM Assets, ADM Technical Team and Shared Services
- Cross training on all CSR responsibilities
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Produce settlements, checks and delivery sheets for customers/grain producers daily using grain accounting software system
Requirements:
- Willing to work harvest hours when required. This includes some weekends
- Ability to multi task is crucial to being successful in this job. Must adapt and perform consistently in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to be utilized daily
- High regard for accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate well in a team environment. Dedication to group goals and objectives and continually seek to improve

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
- Ability to learn web based and other computer applications as needed
- Actively grow their knowledge of their customers business, grain marketing alternatives and market conditions
- Associates degree in accounting or business preferred or 2-4 years' experience with accounting and customer service
- Prefer 2-4 years of experience with customer service
