Gainwell Technologies is a company focused on improving health and well-being through technology. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will play a critical role in maximizing product value by defining vision, managing the product backlog, and liaising between stakeholders and development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the organization and performance of certain functional areas and the activities of direct reports. Provides staff management and guidance with an understanding and following established company policies and procedures
- Manage and ensure service delivery of Products to meet client and company expectations and needs. Creates, recommends and implements Product improvements to meet established objectives
- Participate in developing new business and/or task order proposals
- Manages and monitors business activities to ensure a high standard of professional excellence is maintained among all staff members
- Oversee development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis
- Coordinates and communicates with other managers and SME's to leverage resources and discuss solutions to problems. Develop processes for leveraging and using resources to meet customer needs. Investigates and resolves matters of significance as appropriate
- Develops and maintains communications with the customer, management and staff to ensure service is delivered on time and within budget or contractual obligations
- Select and hire employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases within allocated budgets and company guidelines
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management, including advanced knowledge of Methodologies, Budgeting, Planning, and Delivery Frameworks
- 8 plus years of leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high performing teams
- Strong expertise in financial management, including budget development, analysis, forecasting, and earned value management principles
- Demonstrated experience in public sector environments, including contracting, regulatory compliance, and delivery of mission critical services
- Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, represent the organization, and drive results across cross functional teams
