Job Title: IBM Sterling OMS (Order Management System) Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Developer with strong expertise in Order Management, Fulfillment, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting IBM Sterling Order Management solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
Strong experience in IBM Sterling Distributed Order Management (DOM).
Hands-on experience with Order Capture, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management, and Returns Management.
Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
Experience with Sterling Application Platform APIs, User Exits, Agents, and Services.
Experience developing and customizing Sterling OMS workflows and business processes.
Knowledge of XML, XSLT, XAPI, REST, and SOAP web services.
Experience with IBM Sterling Call Center and Store Fulfillment modules.
Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Knowledge of source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
Preferred Skills
Experience with IBM Sterling Inventory Visibility.
Experience integrating OMS with eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and Spring Boot.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain domain experience.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
Configure and customize order orchestration, inventory, fulfillment, and returns processes.
Develop custom services, user exits, APIs, and integrations.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
Integrate Sterling OMS with ERP, WMS, POS, and eCommerce systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer sessions.
Qualifications
Nice to Have
IBM Sterling OMS Certification.
Experience with large-scale Retail or Omni-channel Commerce implementations.
Knowledge of Inventory Visibility, Store Fulfillment, and Distributed Order Management concept
