Network Engineer (Mid-Level) – Enterprise Environment
Location: Las Vegas, NV Area (Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension/Conversion)
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate
We’re partnering with a large, enterprise-level organization in a mission-critical industry to bring on a Network Engineer to support a high-availability infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining network stability, performance, and reliability across multiple locations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
- Work with routers, switches, and firewalls in a production environment
- Assist with network design, implementation, and upgrades
- Respond to incidents (latency, outages, connectivity issues) and drive resolution
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure uptime and optimal performance
- Participate in an on-call rotation
What We’re Looking For
- Strong foundation in networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Experience supporting enterprise-level network environments
- Understanding of network topology and troubleshooting methodologies
- Hands-on experience diagnosing real-world network issues
- Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCDA) are a plus but not required
