Accion Labs is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with expertise in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations Analytics. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and data teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure analytics deliverables align with business expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Understand and document KPI definitions, business rules, calculation logic, filters, dimensions, and reporting expectations
- Support requirements for SCM KPIs such as inventory, delivery, working capital, cost, people, order fill, vendor OTD, lead time, freight cost, PPV, and related operational measures
- Partner with data engineers and BI engineers to translate business requirements into data mapping, transformation, semantic model, and reporting specifications
- Help identify source system data gaps, quality issues, harmonization needs, and manual data requirements
- Coordinate with customer SMEs and data stewards for validation of business rules, KPI definitions, and UAT sign-off
- Review Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business requirements and usability expectations
- Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, validation sessions, and issue-resolution discussions
- Maintain requirement traceability from business need to source data, transformation logic, semantic model, report output, and UAT acceptance
- Support change management by documenting new, changed, or deferred requirements clearly
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Functional Analyst
- Strong domain understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Operations, and operational reporting
- Experience working with ERP data, preferably across multiple ERP/source systems
- Strong understanding of data mapping, source-to-target requirements, business rules, data quality validation, and reporting logic
- Experience with BI/reporting projects, preferably involving Power BI, semantic models, or enterprise data platforms
- Ability to work with business users to define KPIs and translate them into measurable reporting requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
- Experience supporting UAT, report validation, and stakeholder sign-off
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data lakehouse concepts, or Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture
- Prior experience in manufacturing analytics or supply chain transformation programs
- Familiarity with KPIs such as Healthy Inventory Ratio, Days of Supply, Aged Inventory, Cycle Count Accuracy, DPO, Order Fill, Vendor OTD, Lead Time, Freight % of Sales, Tariff Cost, PPV, Cost Savings, Headcount, and Attrition
- Experience working with global manufacturing sites or multi-site operational reporting
- Basic SQL understanding to support data validation and requirement analysis
- Experience working in Agile/Sprint-based delivery models
