Carrot is a next-generation visual diagnostics platform aiming to enhance eye care through innovative technology. They are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support feature development by managing documentation, backlog hygiene, QA coordination, and stakeholder updates in a cross-functional role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to scope new features and translate requirements into clear stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables
- Maintain the backlog so issues are groomed, correctly labeled, prioritized, and ready for engineering pickup
- Own quality and compliance documentation, including design reviews, traceability matrices, risk analyses, and QSR artifacts
- Coordinate and execute QA and UAT, including testing features, logging bugs, verifying fixes, and confirming release readiness
- Triage incoming bug reports and clinical feedback from sales, customer success, and end users
- Keep project dashboards up to date and maintain visibility into feature status, blockers, timelines, and upcoming releases
- Track progress across active engineering work from scoping through delivery, flagging blockers early and helping ensure work ships on schedule
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in product operations, product management, project management, QA, software delivery, clinical operations, or a related role
- Ability to communicate in writing well and be comfortable documenting requirements, tickets, bugs, and acceptance criteria
- Experience working with engineering teams and agile development workflows
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Comfort testing software, reproducing issues, and validating fixes
- Ability to work across product, engineering, design, customer success, sales, and clinical teams
- Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, or clinical software
- Familiarity with QSR documentation, design controls, traceability matrices, or risk analysis
- Experience with Jira, Figma, GitHub, Asana, Trello, or similar tools
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment
