This role combines technical leadership, architecture ownership, and hands-on development across backend and frontend systems. Java Full Stack Lead

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Lead to drive end-to-end development of scalable, high-performance applications. This role combines technical leadership, architecture ownership, and hands-on development across backend and frontend systems. You will lead a team of engineers while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack developers, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Architect and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Build responsive, high-performance front-end applications using React or Angular with Redux.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services ensuring seamless data flow.
- Implement and maintain messaging/event-driven systems using Kafka or MQ.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders on technical design and execution.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and dependency tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus).
- Drive Agile methodologies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Continuously improve system architecture, performance, and development processes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong expertise in:
- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
- React or Angular (with Redux)
- REST APIs & distributed systems
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or IBM MQ
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus)
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience leading teams and making architecture decisions
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
