Finley Road Partners is a company specializing in event labor management, providing administrative and staffing services. The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst will analyze labor and payroll data to identify inefficiencies, build executive dashboards, and support the Product Ops Team in prioritizing developments.
Responsibilities:
- Quantify the exact scale of operational bottlenecks (e.g., tracking total manual hours lost to redundant data reentry or evaluating regional operational performance)
- Partner with business architects and system analysts to build predictive ROI and cost-savings models
- Develop and manage automated dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce) to monitor corporate KPIs, daily operations, and feature adoption
- Analyze labor, crewing, and client data to identify opportunities to improve operations, cut unnecessary costs, and more efficient utilization of resources
- Collaborate with the Product Ops Team to ensure data pipelines are properly maintained, definitions are consistent, and system data accurately represents business activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 – 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or Operations Analyst in a highly quantitative corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in writing clean, optimized SQL queries to extract data from complex relational databases
- Mastery of data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma) and strong Excel modeling skills are required
- Demonstrated ability to connect abstract business concepts (like scheduling delays or manual processing friction) to tangible data points and financial impacts
- The ability to translate complex data schemas into clear insights for non-technical business leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Prior experience analyzing datasets tied to workforce management, workforce scheduling (e.g., ProCrewz), high-volume staffing, multi-state payroll, or live events labor tracking is highly desirable
