Navitus Health Solutions, through Archimedes, is a leader in specialty drug management solutions focused on transforming the PBM industry. They are seeking a Manager, Cloud and DevOps Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud and DevOps capabilities while managing a team of engineers and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Cloud Engineers and DevOps Engineers
- Manage staffing, workforce planning, recruiting, employee development, performance management, succession planning, and technical career growth across the Cloud and DevOps Engineering organization
- Establish cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and operational excellence standards across the enterprise
- Define and maintain Azure landing zone architecture, cloud governance frameworks, subscription strategies, management group structures, security baselines, and platform standards
- Lead architecture reviews for cloud infrastructure, networking, DevOps platforms, automation solutions, security controls, data platform infrastructure, and AI platform services
- Serve as the technical owner for Azure cloud architecture, platform engineering, cloud networking, cloud security, Infrastructure-as-Code, and enterprise automation initiatives
- Establish and govern Infrastructure-as-Code standards utilizing Terraform, Bicep, Azure Policy, policy-as-code, and automated platform provisioning frameworks
- Lead cloud modernization, infrastructure transformation, platform consolidation, automation, resiliency, and operational maturity initiatives
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to establish secure, scalable cloud foundations supporting Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, analytics platforms, and AI workloads
- Support cloud infrastructure requirements for machine learning, generative AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Databricks ML, vector databases, intelligent automation platforms, and emerging AI technologies
- Establish DevOps standards supporting CI/CD, GitOps, release automation, environment management, platform automation, and software delivery governance
- Drive adoption of platform engineering principles, self-service infrastructure, reusable cloud services, golden templates, automation frameworks, and developer enablement capabilities
- Lead enterprise observability initiatives utilizing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, KQL, telemetry platforms, alerting frameworks, and operational dashboards
- Establish reliability engineering practices including SLOs, SLIs, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience
- Serve as escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure, networking, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, security, and operational incidents
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement Zero Trust architecture, cloud security controls, identity governance, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead FinOps initiatives including cloud cost governance, Azure Cost Management, chargeback/showback models, optimization strategies, reserved capacity planning, and resource utilization management
- Evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies, AI platform capabilities, automation solutions, and engineering tools supporting organizational growth and innovation
- Participate in enterprise technology strategy, roadmap development, platform investment decisions, architecture governance, and cloud operating model evolution
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, cybersecurity policies, and enterprise governance requirements
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or data science required
- 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related disciplines required
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and technical professionals required
- Demonstrated experience leading Azure cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, DevOps, and automation initiatives required
- Deep expertise with Azure architecture, networking, cloud security, Infrastructure-as-Code, governance, and operational excellence required
- Advanced experience with Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (AKS), and enterprise automation frameworks required
- Experience implementing cloud governance, FinOps, observability, reliability engineering, disaster recovery, and operational resilience programs required
- Experience leading cloud architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, and driving organizational transformation required
- Experience supporting Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, analytics platforms, and AI-related cloud infrastructure preferred
- Experience supporting machine learning, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Databricks ML, MLOps, and AI platform services preferred
- Experience working within HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, or similar regulated environments preferred
