Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer - DevOps + Infrastructure

Bennett Adelson Consulting is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize their Azure cloud infrastructure and services. The role involves a variety of Azure-related tasks including DevOps, infrastructure management, and ensuring the reliability and security of Azure-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure to meet business requirements
• Implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Develop and enforce Azure policies for compliance and security
• Configure and maintain Azure Backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues
• Monitor Azure resources and make recommendations for optimization and cost-efficiency
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure the organization's cloud environment remains cutting-edge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 to 8 years of experience in the DevOps space
• Proven experience in managing Azure cloud environments and services
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with Azure Backup solutions and data protection strategies
• Familiarity with Azure Policy for governance and compliance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Microsoft Azure certification(s) is a plus
