Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional Project Manager to work remotely. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing resources, schedules, and financials to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to project management guidelines and principles.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, work instructions, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
- Manage the day-to-day project activities, and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
- Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, relationships, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders, communications, resources, budget, changes, risks, issues, conflicts dependencies and critical path deliverables
- Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract
- Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
- Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders and sponsors
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, budget and quality standards
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in Project Management
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, tools & software
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Understand of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficient knowledge with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mapics
- Experience using various project management tools and systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams and build relationships
