Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager of Renewable Energy to join their innovative team. The role involves managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects, ensuring high-quality commissioning activities, and coordinating various personnel on site.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure assigned projects' commissioning activities are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies
- Responsible for coordination and management of, EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third-party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup
- Responsible for compliance with all project contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utility
- Responsible for oversight of commissioning personnel for multiple sites to ensure contractual obligations are met for all assigned projects
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise and input into team strategic planning for safety, personnel, and quality and efficiency improvement
Requirements:
- Electrical construction and commissioning means and methods knowledge including NEC and NFPA
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and troubleshooting
- E&I controls and instrumentation installation, startup and troubleshooting
- Protection and Controls implementation and troubleshooting
- Inverter operation and communications startup and troubleshooting
- Battery Energy Storage System operation and troubleshooting
- Review drawings for quality control and inspection
- Schedule and planning understanding
