EthosEnergy is seeking a Gas Turbine Application Engineer (GTAE) to provide dedicated technical support within their Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine product line. The role involves business development, technical proposal leadership, and collaboration with various teams to ensure customer needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include, but are not limited to: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Collect all available technical knowledge on GT product with the aim to prepare the technical documents needed to develop customer awareness of EthosEnergy solutions, like:
- Scope of work
- Technical presentation
- Technical data sheet PRE-BID PHASE
- Targeted technical account holding webinars to GT users
- Spec reviews and technical prequalification coordinator
- Understand the main customer drivers to be converted into focused value propositions
- Maintenance and communication of Product Portfolio, suggest New Product Introductions
- Conduct training of internal EthosEnergy people, such as Sales, Commercial, etc. on EthosEnergy GT products, capabilities and services
- ORDER CAPTURE PHASE (part of ITO process)
- GT solution technical proposal lead, including:
- Introducing EthosEnergy solutions through dedicated rotor and hot gas parts program presentations, to consolidate technical scope
- Review of customer tender scope of works
- Prepare dedicated scope of works matching customer CTQs
- Verify technical compatibility of GT components configuration
- Provide interchangeability solutions
- Internal technical contact for Sales and Commercial teams on rotor program sales opportunities in WH
- Provides an effective interface between Sales and Commercial with GT core Engineering
- Manages Technical DoA within EthosEnergy organization on GT product CLOSE AND CONTRACT TURNOVER
- Ensure the main customer drivers are transferred to the PM and executing functions
- Ensure all technical features agreed with customer are understood by operations to avoid gaps in the implementation ORDER IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
- Support Supply Chain Management and Operations to meet market demands, including:
- Provide input to Global lead on the high probability opportunities pipeline to consolidate a global signal allowing SCM an advanced procurement of strategic stock (casting and forging and other raw material or full finished components) to meet the global demand
- Provide technical checklist in case a GT used components procurement is required from the market
- Interface with Sales, Commercial Management, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Engineering teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a GT service provider company
- Ability to travel
- Creative / outside the box thinker
- PowerPoint skills are required
- Knowledge of competing technologies
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well with clients
- Team player with resource coordination skills
- Problem solving, Team building, mentoring and effective communication skills
- Engineering Master's degree
- GE heavy duty F tech and B/E tech hot gas parts and rotor knowledge preferably
- GT components design knowledge preferable
