Senior Electrical Engineer

Storm4 is a leading manufacturer of custom-engineered thermal management solutions, supporting some of the world's largest Hyperscale customers. The Senior Electrical Engineer role focuses on electrical design and controls engineering for industrial equipment, overseeing the full lifecycle from quoting to production and field support.

Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical control systems (24V–480V) for industrial equipment
• Creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts
• Working on UL508A control panels and system integration
• Supporting quoting, component selection, and enclosure design
• Developing BOMs and technical documentation for production
• Collaborating with customers, sales, and manufacturing teams
• Supporting production startup and resolving field/service issues
• Contributing to submittal packages and engineering documentation

Requirements:

• 4–7+ years' experience in electrical / controls engineering (equipment-focused)
• Strong experience with UL508A panels, controls design, and schematics
• Background in 24V–480V control systems (not PCB/embedded-heavy roles)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD
• Experience creating electrical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with communications protocols and industrial control systems
• Comfortable working across quoting, design, and production support
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology preferred
