AI Automation Engineering Intern

Spinaux, Inc. is an AI startup building Mizzi, an AI-powered customer support and automation platform. They are seeking a dynamic and motivated AI Automation Engineering Intern to support technical development and help build real AI automation pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and improving AI automation workflows and backend systems
• Support backend logic, API integrations, and automation pipelines
• Help develop, test, and improve LLM-powered features and conversational AI workflows
• Support OAuth flows and third-party platform integrations
• Identify bugs, test workflows, and improve product reliability and performance
• Collaborate with the team on product development, experimentation, and technical problem-solving
• Help document workflows, implementation steps, technical processes, and system behavior
• Assist in evaluating chatbot performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving response quality
• Support internal testing of automation tools and customer support workflows
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of scalable AI-powered systems and integrations

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and customer support technology
• Experience with Python and the ability to write clean, reliable code
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, automation workflows, and backend logic
• Exposure to chatbot systems, conversational AI, or LLM-based tools
• Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying or supporting scalable applications
• Experience building, testing, or supporting automation tools, internal tools, or AI-based products
• Comfortable working in a startup-style environment and moving quickly across different tasks
• English communication skills
