Infrastructure Engineering - Web Developer

Sira Consulting, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking a Web Developer to contribute to web development projects for both internal and external sites. The role involves building and maintaining Meta-branded web properties, delivering new features, and ensuring high standards of code quality and site performance while utilizing AI tools to enhance development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve WordPress site features using JavaScript and PHP
• Create and modify WordPress plugins and themes, including bug fixes and updates
• Partner with various stakeholders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions
• Enhance site responsiveness, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues
• Engage in code reviews and documentation while adhering to secure coding standards
• Implement an AI-first development workflow using modern toolsets

Requirements:

• Strong Techno-functional Solution Architect experience with client-facing exposure
• Hands-on experience in hardware integration + systems architecture
• Good exposure to AI/ML or AI-led enterprise solutions (GenAI, automation, etc.)
• Experience working in Product Owner / Product-driven environments
• Strong understanding of end-to-end system design, integrations, and workflows
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of developing WordPress sites or applications with PHP and JavaScript
• Direct experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and knowledge of web best practices regarding accessibility and maintainability
• Familiarity with WordPress architecture, including hooks, PHP APIs, the block editor, and REST API
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage tasks independently in high-pressure environments
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
