Data Engineer- Fabric- Part time to start can go full time perm -Remote

Dice is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to fostering growth and innovation. They are seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with IT teams, design and maintain data warehouse architectures, and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT teams to define specifications for data and reporting requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse architectures, including relational databases and multidimensional cubes
• Develop dimensional data models using industry best practices to support analytics and BI initiatives
• Implement ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous validation processes
• Optimize SQL database performance for efficient data retrieval and processing
• Document data architecture, processes, and definitions for operational excellence

Requirements:

• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including Analysis Services and Integration Services
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and data warehouse technologies with practical experience
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services Catalog
• Proficiency in scripting with Microsoft PowerShell and tools like Power BI and Power Automate
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Five to seven years of related experience in data warehouse development and data integration
