Role: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Austin, TX Onsite

Job Description:

• 12+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating complex data requests and operational requirements into clear, actionable queries for complex analytics data sources.
• 12+ years of experience explaining technical findings, data limitations, and analytical insights in simple, non-technical language to business users and executive stakeholders.
• 12+ years of experience serving in complex data analysis, Senior Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, and data liaison roles across enterprise environments.
• 12+ years of strong hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, reporting, and data manipulation.
• 12+ years of experience collaborating with business users, program managers, performance analysts, and IT leadership to create, validate, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for operational and strategic reporting.
• 12+ years of demonstrated excellence in communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills while working with technical and non-technical audiences.
• 10+ years of experience using data visualization and reporting tools including Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, and other BI platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading projects as a Technical Project Manager utilizing Agile, Scrum, hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies, sprint planning, epics, user stories, and project documentation.
• 10+ years of experience working within Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments supporting enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.
• 7+ years of experience acting as the primary point of contact for program staff supporting federal, state, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements.
• 8+ years of experience working within Healthcare, Health and Human Services (HHS), Medicaid, Medicare, Public Health, or other highly regulated environments with complex reporting requirements.
• 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting data governance frameworks, data quality standards, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience developing and delivering data literacy, analytics, and reporting training sessions for non-technical users and business stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, and supporting staff with varying levels of technical and data literacy expertise.
• 1+ year of experience leveraging AI technologies, prompt engineering techniques, and developing AI prompt libraries/catalogs using Python-based tools such as Streamlit.
• 1+ year of experience applying Responsible AI principles, governance standards, compliance controls, and validation practices to ensure accurate and trustworthy AI-generated outputs.
