Accounts Payable Financial Analyst/UKHC

UK HealthCare is seeking an Accounts Payable Financial Analyst to provide financial accounting, analytical, and operational support for the Accounts Payable function. The role focuses on oversight and reconciliation of accounts, resolution of variances, and participation in analytics to support leadership decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Providing financial accounting, analytical, and operational support for the Accounts Payable function
• Oversight and reconciliation of the GR/IR account
• Resolution of purchase order and invoicing variances
• Coordination with suppliers, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and internal departments
• Participation in Accounts Payable analytics and benchmarking efforts, including analysis of key performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support leadership decision-making and period-end close activities
• Analyzing invoice exceptions, spend patterns, and vendor payment activity to identify trends, anomalies, and discount opportunities
• Proactively resolving payment issues impacting invoice settlement
• Completion of quality assurance and compliance activities through routine invoice audits, duplicate payment reviews, and preparation of monthly reports for management
• Participation in process improvement initiatives and special projects, partnering with AP Operations, Information Technology, and other enterprise stakeholders to optimize invoice workflows, automation, and controls
• Supporting implementation of new processes, systems, and strategic initiatives as assigned by leadership

Requirements:

• BS
• 3 years of related experience
• None required for license/registration/certification
• Sitting for extended periods of time; occasional travel to/from healthcare business offices in Lexington, KY

• Bachelor's Degree + 3 Years of experience in Accounting and/or Accounts Payable
