The role involves investigating, analyzing, and modifying core legacy mainframe modules to create message queues for seamless data redirection to the cloud, while collaborating with integration teams to modernize the architecture.

Responsibilities:

Investigate, analyze, and modify core legacy mainframe modules to create message queues
Collaborate closely with integration teams using IBM App Connect Enterprise (IBM ACE)
Transform tightly coupled legacy architecture into a modern, event-driven, cloud-ready ecosystem
Investigate and modify mainframe batch modules and online environments to output to message queues
Ensure near real-time, resilient, and secure data propagation to AWS
