About this role
Role Overview
Establish trusted partnerships with important customers
Develop Administrative and C-Suite relationships
Drive Medtronic product and service revenue and market share
Develop strategies that leverage Medtronic’s portfolio while delivering unique value
Be accountable for cross functional team collaboration across the Operating Units, Service & Solutions functions and CoEs
Understand customer needs and account’s strategic priorities
Identify funding opportunities to leverage Medtronic’s capabilities
Maintain accurate account/customer plans in SFDC and prepare progress reports
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business (preferably), science, medicine or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
Direct experience in a Surgical or Cardiovascular District Manager role (nice to have)
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as needed
Business management experience in senior and complex roles
Previous experience working in a regulated industry in Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma in a multinational environment with a significant matrix component
Deep understanding of Medtronic portfolio and trends in terms of outpatient treatment, alternative site care
High personal agility & adaptability, profound experience in large scale organizational change
Ability to establish effective relationships with customers’ administration decision makers, articulate value propositions to match emerging consumer needs and establish long term partnership
Excellent communication, influencing, collaboration and problem-solving skills
