Senior Sales Engineer, AI and Cloud Security

Silverfort is an identity security company focused on protecting identities and access for humans, machines, and AI agents across on-premises and cloud environments. The Senior Sales Engineer will serve as the primary technical expert for AI agent security and cloud identity across North America, leading discovery, proof-of-concept design, architecture workshops, and strategic customer engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the deep technical expert on AI agent security and cloud identity across North American account teams
• Lead technical scoping, POC design, and architecture workshops for accounts with complex cloud and AI environments
• Design and execute POC environments for securing AI agent identities, nonhuman service accounts, cloud workload identities, and machine to machine authentication across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Assess cross account and cross project trust relationships in AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify where workload identity and service account configurations create real risk
• Build repeatable delivery assets, technical guides, demo environments, and battle cards, that account teams can activate on AI and cloud identity opportunities
• Partner cross functionally with AEs, CSMs, and the Silverfort product team to drive AI and cloud identity wins to close
• Bridge Silverfort’s identity platform and the emerging AI and cloud identity threat landscape for customer
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent engagements across different account teams, prioritizing based on deal complexity and urgency

Requirements:

• • 5+ years of experience in a presales, sales engineering, or technical security role
• • Deep, hands-on knowledge of cloud identity platforms including AWS IAM and workload identity, GCP service accounts and workload identity federation, Azure Entra ID,and Okta
• • Hands on experience securing AI agent identities, nonhuman service accounts, API keys, or automation pipelines in production AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• • Experience working in an overlay or specialist SE capacity, or demonstrated ability to operate without direct account ownership
• • Strong understanding of how AI tooling (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) is expanding the attack surface across cloud environments
• • Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements across different account teams
• • Working familiarity with scripting or infrastructure automation (Python, Terraform, or similar), sufficient to build and troubleshoot cloud POC environments
• • Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft SC 300, CyberArk Defender, Okta Professional)
• • Familiarity with the nonhuman identity competitive landscape
• • Experience working with MSSP, VAR, or channel partners in a presales capacity
• • Background in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure)
