Healthcare Data Analyst (Excel Specialist) | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to guide research teams in improving model performance on Excel-based tasks. The role involves designing Excel tasks, evaluating solutions, and collaborating with experts to ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve model performance on Excel-based tasks within the Healthcare domain
• Design realistic, domain-relevant Excel tasks drawn from professional experience and write accurate, well-structured solutions
• Evaluate Excel tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data

Requirements:

• Strong experience in advanced Excel, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and macros/VBA
• Strong experience in applying Excel within the Healthcare domain clinical operations, revenue cycle, payer/provider analytics, budgeting, forecasting, or quality and regulatory reporting
• Strong experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and analytical problem-solving in a professional setting
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week on weekdays with reliable availability
