Scopely is a leading video game and global interactive entertainment company, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Marvel Strike Force team. The role involves owning performance vectors, defining strategies, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize monetization and live operations for the game.
Responsibilities:
- Take full accountability for a specific business vertical
- Define the roadmap for your area, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into the broader live operations and monetization strategy
- Define, track, and hit OKRs and KPIs
- Act as your own best analyst
- Use SQL to deep-dive into player segments, identifying exactly where friction exists in your vector and where the next growth opportunity lies
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize offer conversion, event engagement, and feature spend
- Demonstrate a relentless track record of improving feature performance
- Monitor live results daily, iterating on tuning and rewards to maximize both short-term revenue and long-term retention
- Ensure your specific vector drives meaningful monetization without cannibalizing other systems or damaging player sentiment
Requirements:
- Strong preference for candidates with a background in Data Analysis or Economy who have transitioned into Product Management
- High proficiency in SQL is non-negotiable
- Experience with Tableau for performance visualization is a major plus
- Significant experience in free-to-play mobile games, specifically owning live features or monetization systems
- A proven track record of using A/B testing and hypothesis-driven development to move the needle on core business metrics
- Experience working within OKR frameworks and a comfort level with being held accountable for specific revenue and engagement targets
- Deep knowledge of Squad RPGs or Hero Collectors (knowing the difference between a Blitz and a Raid is a head start)
- Experience managing complex progression-based monetization (e.g., Battle Passes, Shard-based economies)
