ActioNet, Inc. is a woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with over 26 years of experience. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee cloud-based API projects, manage CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects
- Lead and guide the work of technical staff
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
- Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
- Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from scoping to implementation
- Provides leadership and direction in migrating legacy applications to cloud platforms in a FedRAMP environment
- Oversee the development and execution of contractor-assigned projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Determines operating approach and ensures the philosophy is translated into action
- Provides top management with technical information and recommendations on cloud solutions
- Manages budget for equipment and manpower acquisition
- Work with technical team to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment tools, automated testing, Cloud, microservices and container-based environments
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
- Coordinates project activities with other entities (may include direct interface with customers)
- Track and report project progress, metrics, and ensure alignment with contract deliverables
- Lead project execution using Agile/Scrum and PMP-aligned project management practices, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, milestone tracking, and delivery forecasting
- Manage project governance, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and organizational objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with eight years of federal government experience
- 3 years of experience of managing development teams
- 8 years of Project Management - Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities
- Public Trust
