Technical Project Manager

ActioNet, Inc. is a woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with over 26 years of experience. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee cloud-based API projects, manage CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects
• Lead and guide the work of technical staff
• Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
• Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
• Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from scoping to implementation
• Provides leadership and direction in migrating legacy applications to cloud platforms in a FedRAMP environment
• Oversee the development and execution of contractor-assigned projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Determines operating approach and ensures the philosophy is translated into action
• Provides top management with technical information and recommendations on cloud solutions
• Manages budget for equipment and manpower acquisition
• Work with technical team to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment tools, automated testing, Cloud, microservices and container-based environments
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
• Coordinates project activities with other entities (may include direct interface with customers)
• Track and report project progress, metrics, and ensure alignment with contract deliverables
• Lead project execution using Agile/Scrum and PMP-aligned project management practices, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, milestone tracking, and delivery forecasting
• Manage project governance, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and organizational objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with eight years of federal government experience
• 3 years of experience of managing development teams
• 8 years of Project Management - Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities
