Prodege, LLC is a cutting-edge marketing and consumer insights platform looking for a Director, Product Designer, Consumer Experience to lead design for their Core Product portfolio. This senior leadership role involves owning the design vision and quality across consumer and business products, partnering with various leadership teams to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Set and communicate design vision, principles, and direction across Prodege's consumer product portfolio
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data leadership to align design strategy with business goals and roadmaps
- Translate complex reward and loyalty mechanics into intuitive, delightful experiences across Prodege's web and mobile products
- Present work, rationale, and strategy to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Advocate for user needs and design quality in prioritization and roadmap discussions
- Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing product design team
- Set clear expectations, deliver direct feedback, and conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
- Manage capacity and prioritization across concurrent workstreams
- Establish team rituals (critiques, reviews, retrospectives) that raise craft and collaboration
- Own the quality bar for all consumer design output across Prodege O&O (Owned & Operated) brands
- Lead hands-on design on highest-impact initiatives: onboarding, engagement loops, and reward experiences
- Champion user-centered practices including research, usability testing, journey mapping, and iterative prototyping
- Ensure accessibility standards are met across all product experiences
- Partner with Engineering on accurate implementation, maintenance, and system governance
- Define success metrics for design initiatives in partnership with Product and Data leads
- Use quantitative signals (activation, retention, engagement) and qualitative insights to inform and validate design decisions
- Design and support A/B tests to optimize experiences and measure impact
- Communicate design impact clearly to leadership
Requirements:
- 10-12+ years of experience in Product Design, with 5+ years directly managing product designers
- Experience working on products that incorporate or are moving toward AI-powered features, and the judgment to know how to design for emerging capabilities thoughtfully
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership of high craft, complex products from concept through launch, with clear impact on users and the business
- Excellent judgment. You know when to go deep, when to delegate, and when to push
- Proven experience leading design strategy and execution in close partnership with senior Product and Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to define and ship high-quality experiences in complex, ambiguous problem spaces with velocity
- Strong product instincts. You can zoom out to strategy and zoom in to details with equal confidence

- Experience in experimentation-heavy product environments
