Studio Science is a company that helps businesses design with people, ensuring experiences that work better. They are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Business Analyst to lead stakeholder discovery, translate business needs into actionable Salesforce solutions, and support the broader delivery team throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders, owning the functional project solution
- Facilitate client discussions to document current business processes, pain points, and objectives
- Identify gaps in Salesforce best practices and recommend improvements
- Create and manage user stories and supporting documentation, including business process flows, wireframes, and system context diagrams
- Assess the impact of proposed solutions on people, processes, and technologies
- Lead sprint demos to present development and gather client feedback
- Support project activities including configuration, change management, quality assurance, and post-launch support
- Provide expertise on business processes integrated with Salesforce and ensure system functionality through testing and documentation
- Contribute to new product development, workflows, and ideas to enhance project outcomes
- Identify risks and recommend solutions to ensure project success
- Mentor less experienced team members and take on leadership responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce Business Analyst or equivalent role; this is an experienced hire and NOT an entry-level or new-to-Salesforce role, candidates should have at least 3+ years experience working as a Salesforce Business Analyst
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document user requirements from diverse audiences
- Experience with Salesforce implementation across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing in Salesforce environments
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities, with experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, change management, or facilitating workshops in a Salesforce environment
- Familiarity with agile development tools and data analysis methodologies
- Strong consulting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a collaborative and consultative approach
- Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of addressing complex problems and thriving in an environment of continual feedback
- Eagerness to contribute to team expertise and best practices while fostering organizational transformation and innovation
- Capability to efficiently operate remotely and maintain a professional demeanor while working from a designated location within the United States
- Availability and flexibility to work with global clients across multiple time zones and for occasional travel to clients sites and Studio Science headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or anytime in the future
- Salesforce Certifications: Administrator (SCA) - preferred
- Salesforce Certifications: Business Analyst - preferred
- Salesforce Certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant - preferred
- Salesforce Certifications: Service Cloud Consultant - preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Lightning Web Components
- Experience delivering Site/Portals/Communities on the Salesforce Experience Cloud platform and Salesforce CMS (formerly Salesforce Community Cloud)
- Experience working on projects with eCommerce enterprise applications and/or CMS, ERP, CPQ, Portals, SSO solutions
- Experience with Salesforce ecosystem solutions including, but not limited to, CloudCraze, Demandware, Steelbrick, and Coveo
