Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android)

Eight Sleep is the world’s first sleep fitness company, dedicated to enhancing human potential through optimal sleep. They are seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to join their Engineering team, focusing on developing high-quality mobile applications that interact with their flagship product, the Pod.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews
• Ensure code quality
• Optimize the app performance to enhance the experience of our members

Requirements:

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI
• Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability
• Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose
• Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field
• Experience working with Health related apps and peripherals
