KTek Resourcing is seeking a Control-M Scheduler & Automation Engineer to support their Control-M environments. The role involves managing multiple Control-M servers and agents, providing incident management, and ensuring service level targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Control-M environments: Production, SimProd/Test/Sandbox
- Provides support for approximately 80 MVS LPARS, 40 Control-M Servers, and 200 Control-M Agents
- Supports Control-M Linux scripts and other utilities on the Distributed side of Control-M
- Provides Incident Management for the MVS tools: MQUIRY, PENDIT, PENDITRO, etc
- Maintains the Control-M flows/jobs running on the MVS IOA and Linux side of Control-M
- Assist Enterprise Scheduling with any issues that arise
- Maintains server type documentation via the Control-M Tech Guide
- Manages over one-hundred Control-M Knowledge Items
- Participate in Control-M Project/Stakeholder/Team meetings - acts as a stakeholder on any efforts affecting the functionality of our Control-M servers
- Guides and sets the strategic direction of the Control-M servers
- Liaison to Business Partners utilizing the Control-M servers
- Ensures the service level targets associated with the server are being met
- Confirms that the necessary Control-M Alerts/Shout are transmitted to OVO/TSOM/MAUL monitoring templates thus ServiceNow are generated for the SF Enterprise
- Owns five Technical Recovery Plans and tests the functionality of said plans
- Manage the access, and availability to the Control-M servers
- Create/update connection profiles for Web Services and MFT jobs
- Add/update WSDL/SOAP files and change connection profiles when requested by the App/Job Owner
- Troubleshoot issues within the scope of the Control-M servers, agents, and add-on tools
- Troubleshoot connection/network issues on the Control-M servers/agents we own
- Maintain the SSL Certificates for the Control-M servers and Agents attached to our Control-M servers
- Build/create/stand-up, maintain, and delete, the Control-M Linux servers (40 servers)
- Install/uninstall all BMC Control-M Software: new versions, version upgrades, add-ons, etc
- Install Linux OS Patches as needed
- Maintain the Control-M Puppet code for the Control-M Agents
- Ensure the appropriate levels of testing BMC Control-M Software takes place maintenance
- Manage ownership and configuration information in appropriate tools:
- · ESMT - Enterprise Server Management Tool (Linux and Windows)
- · DMS - Deployment Management System (Windows)
- · LaaS Linux Portal (Linux)
- · MType Form - Machine Type Form, Create and Maintain Server Types (Linux and Windows)
- · SOLMA - Systems Operational Logical Management of IT Assets (Linux and Windows)
