California Correctional Health Care Services is responsible for managing California’s water resources, systems, and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer, WR, will perform, plan, organize, lead, and review complex water resource development and engineering studies to support the implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

Requirements:

- Knowledge of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and DWR's roles and responsibilities implementing the Act
- Knowledge and practical experience assessing water supplies and demands, as well as, conducting other complex water resources engineering assessments
- Experience preparing technical reports and experience preparing or delivering presentations to the public
- Knowledge/experience with CA Water Plan or other DWR Initiatives
