MVC Resources is a company in the FMCG industry seeking a Commercialization Project Manager. The role involves leading end-to-end commercialization projects for new product launches and ensuring successful market execution while coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end commercialization projects for new product launches, product reformulations, packaging changes, and market expansions across Southeast Asia
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful market execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
- Drive project governance through regular status reviews, risk assessments, and stakeholder updates
- Act as the primary liaison between global R&D teams and regional commercial functions, ensuring seamless transfer of product specifications and launch requirements
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Quality teams to align commercialization activities
- Facilitate communication between regional and global stakeholders to resolve issues, manage expectations, and maintain project momentum
- Work closely with contract manufacturing partners to support product commercialization and production readiness
- Coordinate production trials, validation runs, packaging implementation, and manufacturing timelines
- Ensure manufacturing partners meet quality, operational, and commercial requirements prior to product launch
- Monitor project milestones and proactively address production-related risks and challenges
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to ensure products comply with local market regulations, labeling requirements, and product registration processes
- Coordinate documentation, product approvals, and regulatory submissions across Southeast Asian markets
- Ensure commercialization activities meet all applicable quality, food safety, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure material availability, packaging readiness, and production capacity
- Support demand planning and inventory readiness for successful product launches
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that may impact launch timelines
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure launch readiness and alignment with commercial objectives
- Coordinate launch timelines, market introduction plans, and customer readiness activities
- Track post-launch performance and facilitate lessons-learned reviews to improve future commercialization processes
- Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans where necessary
- Drive process improvements to enhance commercialization efficiency and project execution excellence
- Establish best practices and standardized project management methodologies across the region
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in commercialization, project management, product launch, operations, supply chain, or R&D coordination within the FMCG, beverage, food, or consumer goods industry
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of product commercialization, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory processes
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects involving regional and global teams
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities
- Experience with project management tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and execution discipline
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes
- Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Effective communicator capable of working across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and delivering successful launches
- Experience managing product launches across multiple Southeast Asian markets is highly preferred
- Prior experience working with co-manufacturers, contract packers, or third-party manufacturing partners is advantageous
