About this role
Veritus is building the first fully AI-native voice agent platform for consumer lending and collections. They are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to help scale their AI voice agents and translate real-world requirements into production Voice AI agents.
Responsibilities:
- Translate customer-specific requirements and compliance constraints into robust, testable logic
- Write tools and backend integrations that allow agents to interface with external systems (APIs, CRMs, payment platforms, etc.)
- Tune latency, responsiveness, and voice quality using platforms like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram
- Design A/B tests to optimize business outcomes and regulatory adherence
