Electric Power Engineers (EPE) is focused on designing the grid of the future and has been a leader in the power and energy sector for over 50 years. The Power Systems Engineer Intern will develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission and distribution planning studies while gaining valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform projects/tasks such as network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies
- Contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts
Requirements:
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, a PhD degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred)
