About this role
Role Overview
Join the team directing execution of Small Modular Reactor and nuclear fuel cycle facility projects
Serve as a recognized expert on process engineering for nuclear facilities
Identify innovative solutions to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business
Lead functional teams for projects meeting milestones and objectives
Direct research and solve technical problems with broad impact on company activities
Provide oversight and supervision of the technical work of senior professionals
Communicate complex ideas and persuade others at senior levels
Participate in technical quality assurance reviews
Assist management in conducting project review audits
Coordinate with operational managers to identify staffing needs and recruitment opportunities
Lead initiatives with considerable risk and complexity
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Nuclear Engineering
Minimum of fifteen years post-baccalaureate experience
Strong communication skills in a challenging, multi-tiered environment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to foster and achieve goal alignment among participants with differing interests
Expert knowledge of key NRC regulations, design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities required
Expert knowledge in the use of related design software codes, including process simulation software
Senior design professional on Commercial and Department of Energy nuclear reactor projects
Senior design professional on Commercial and Department of Energy nuclear fuel cycle facilities
Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience
Professional Engineering (PE) License required, with ability to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions
Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.
