Lead Business Intelligence Analyst

Johns Hopkins Medicine is a prominent healthcare institution, and they are seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst. This role is responsible for data analytics, performance measures, and the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications to enhance decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for data analytics and additional support of performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualizations and information dissemination
• Responsible for implementing the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications
• Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
• Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision-making capabilities
• Engages in data exploration exercises with a variety of complex business intelligence tools, requiring knowledge of relational database structures
• A specialist on complex technical and business matters
• Work is highly independent
• Will provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization
• Collaborates with other analytic teams and central engineering team as directed

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree required, field of Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Healthcare, or equivalent preferred
• EDW internal certification required within 6 months
• A certification such as Certified Analytics Professional, project management, or a certification in a data analytic tool such as Tableau Software, or Epic required
• Requires a minimum 8+ years of related experience in health care, including a minimum of 4 years of data analytic experience
• Master's Degree Preferred
