Runway is building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. They are seeking a product marketing manager to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for technical teams and enterprises, focusing on positioning, messaging, and audience growth.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the positioning and messaging for the developer and enterprise audiences, and the platform narrative that ties them together
- Grow each audience over time — develop a real point of view on which segments to invest in, which use cases to make Runway known for, and feed what's working in market back into product and positioning
- Run frequent launch cycles end-to-end for both motions, working closely with the product, creative, and marketing teams
- Develop deep customer and competitive intelligence through qualitative and quantitative research that helps shape product/roadmap decisions and feeds into sales enablement
- Partner closely with sales and deployment teams on pricing and packaging, pipeline-driving programs, and translating what they're hearing in the field into sharper positioning
Requirements:
- 5+ years product marketing, with at least 2 years in B2B product marketing
- Direct experience marketing to technical and enterprise buyers
- Ability to translate technical concepts to compelling narratives
- Strong audience and customer research chops
- Track record of launches that broke through and building positioning and messaging that measurably improved sales results
- Strong cross-functional operator who can drive alignment on complex problems and decisions — positioning, launches, roadmap direction, pricing, and more
- Ability to use AI tools to scale your work — you can set up agents to track competitive intel, use Cursor or Claude Code to prototype landing pages from our codebase, and generally don't wait on engineering or creative for things you can build yourself
- Strong writing skills; holds the bar on copy across assets
- Experience building out a multi-audience strategy
- Marketed across both PLG/self-serve and sales-led motions
- Background in creative tooling or AI products
