GCP Devops Engineer

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain their enterprise cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices to ensure automated, secure, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure strictly using Terraform, ensuring uniform environment management across dev, staging, and production
• CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Design and optimize automated build and release pipelines (using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) to support zero-downtime, continuous application delivery
• Container Orchestration: Manage and scale Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, including multi-tenant configurations, mesh networking, and security hardening
• Observability & Incident Response: Build comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting dashboards utilizing Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging (formerly Stackdriver) to ensure high system uptime and rapid root-cause analysis

Requirements:

• Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Proficiency in managing and scaling Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters
• Knowledge of multi-tenant configurations, mesh networking, and security hardening
• Experience in building monitoring, logging, and alerting dashboards using Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
