Otis Elevator Co. is a leading global company in the elevator and escalator manufacturing industry. They are seeking a highly driven Project Manager to lead critical project activities, ensuring timelines and profitability goals are met while exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of a large-scale and complex project, monitors activities, allocates resources, drives strategic planning, and assigns tasks to ensure targets are met
- Identify and participate in process improvements initiatives
- Partner with Local PM to oversee and manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of Skyrise major projects
- Work with internal departments and HRCLC to ensure project completion
- Contribute to the development of project plans, action trackers and delivery schedules
- Focus on identifying project problems and strategizing resolutions
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of New Equipment elevator sales, the installation process, and elevator components required
- Previous Otis experience in engineering, sales, project management or supply management
- Experience using Microsoft Office, eLogistics, and JD Edwards
- Elevator industry experience, particularly with New Equipment Skyrise products and elevator construction
- Requires a high school diploma or associate degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training) with at least 4 years of relevant experience
- Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
