NewtonX is a B2B insights company trusted by the world's most innovative companies to make high-stakes decisions with confidence. In this role, you will build the data foundation that fuels growth initiatives, ensuring that every initiative is backed by clean, reliable, actionable data.
Responsibilities:
- Build infrastructure: Design pipelines (SQL, dbt, BigQuery) that unify marketing, product, and operational data. Own data quality and event tracking validation
- Power experimentation: Partner with Product to design and analyze A/B tests across acquisition and activation funnels. Implement Mixpanel instrumentation for new experiments
- Drive insights: Own funnel reporting, attribution models, and campaign analysis. Build Looker dashboards that surface where the team should focus next
- Enable AI-driven growth: Support integration of LLM-enriched data models, embeddings, and similarity signals for smarter targeting and segmentation
Requirements:
- 4+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Growth Data roles (startup/marketplace experience a plus)
- Strong SQL, dbt, and Python skills
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Looker, and Mixpanel (or Amplitude/Tableau)
- Deep understanding of funnel metrics, growth experimentation, and marketing attribution
- Ability to translate cross-functional questions into data deliverables
- AI/ML data workflows
- A/B testing tools (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly)
