Cloud Database Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Database Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform Spanner and strong experience across AWS database technologies to support distributed database architecture and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize solutions using Google Cloud Spanner in high-scale, distributed environments
• Work with at least one AWS database service such as DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, or AWS Distributed SQL
• Lead and support cloud database migrations using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and deployment workflows

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Spanner (must-have)
• Experience with one or more AWS database technologies: DynamoDB, Aurora PostgreSQL, or distributed SQL solutions (must-have)
• Proven experience using AWS DMS and Schema Conversion Tool for migrations
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java or Python
