Lead Engineer, QA Automation

AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI. They are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to redefine business intelligence by owning and elevating their quality strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Define and Evolve Strategy: Lead the QA automation strategy, standards, and best practices, owning the automated test pyramid across unit, integration, API, UI, and performance testing
• Build Scalable Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks while establishing clear quality gates for CI/CD pipelines and release readiness
• Mentor and Lead: Manage and technically guide QA engineers and SDETs, setting expectations for code quality and helping to hire and grow top automation talent

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles
• Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Scala
• Deep experience in API and backend validation
• Ability to work East Coast (ET) hours, specifically overlapping with core hours of 10am to 5pm ET
