About this role

Aira Technologies builds AI agents that optimize cellular networks, founded by veterans from Qualcomm and Intel. The role of DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer involves building and operating the cloud platform for agent systems, managing infrastructure, pipelines, and Kubernetes environments to support production under live network traffic.

Responsibilities:

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, networking, identity) as code with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM
Build CI/CD and GitOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD) that ship changes safely under live traffic
Own observability and DevSecOps - Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog, secrets management, security scanning, least-privilege access

Requirements:

4+ years operating production cloud infrastructure
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ Bicep/ ARM/ Ansible) and Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience, including Helm, autoscaling, resource management, debugging, and production operations
CI/CD and GitOps fluency, with a strong DevSecOps mindset - SAST/DAST/SCA scanning, policy-driven security gates and approval workflows, secrets management (Vault), and identity and access (RBAC)
Zero Trust security and secure networking - least-privilege access, segmentation, and hybrid/VPN connectivity
Operational ownership - incident response, root cause analysis, and improving reliability and security posture
Pragmatic and able to own problems end-to-end across disciplines
Azure experience is a plus
Telecom or cellular network experience is a plus, but not required
