About this role
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure management
- Ensure scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments
- Utilize container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Employ infrastructure as code tools including Terraform and Ansible
- Use continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline
- Maintain strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Apply security best practices
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Experience automating cloud infrastructure
- Experience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd
- Experience with observability tools
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
